Freshwater crocodile handed to DETSI | Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI), Queensland.

A small freshwater crocodile has been handed over to wildlife rangers by a concerned member of the public.

The crocodile was reportedly found by a man on a suburban street on 30 March 2025.

The animal is believed to be around two months old and appears to be in good health.
