If you're a member of a credit union, you may want to add "environment" to the list of guiding principles.
That's because, according to an Innovation Federal Credit Union marketing VP, "the cooperative principles have been around for quite some time as the credit union system overall."
The seven principles, which the credit union has been working on for a year, include "healthy communities," "people-based decision-making," and "smart growth," the Los Angeles Times reports.
