About Us
Officials with HCA Healthcare and the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education held a check presentation at Virginia Western Community College.
The $50,000 grant will provide seed money to create pathways for those interested in health care careers.
The grant money will help to expand healthcare programming used in Virginia Western to other community colleges in the state.
The Virginia Community College system has 23 colleges across the Commonwealth, and Virginia Western has just been a leader in developing health care programs, curriculum, and getting some of those services out to rural and underserved communities.
