As ASU celebrates its annual Salute to Service honoring all those who serve our nation and communities, we talked with Dr. Lu about his education and career trajectory.
"I continue to advocate for behavioral health and seeking policy reform to improve outcomes in these uniquely vulnerable populations," he says.
"Even though there is the capacity for tremendous evil in the world, I still believe that it is far outweighed by the capacity of people to do good," he adds.
