Those are the words of the new director of Grove City College's nursing program, who will also serve as chair of the college's bachelor of science in nursing program, reports the Youngstown Business Journal.
The school, which was established in 2020 under the direction of the retiring Dr. Betty Johnson, plans to "provide a quality, supportive, and creative educational environment that integrates faith into nursing practice to prepare exceptional nurses who can meet the needs of the rapidly changing health care environment and lead others by integrating faith into nursing practice," says Kathleen Annear.
Annear has previously served as dean of nursing and allied health at Butler County Community College, Grove City College's partner in providing nursing education.
She helped develop the nursing curriculum there and was instrumental in getting the program, in which students split their time between coursework at Grove City College and clinical training at BC3, off the ground.
