In January 2024, Froedtert ThedaCare Health merged with ThedaCare Health System in Wisconsin to create one of the country's largest not-for-profit health systems.
Now, Cathy Jacobson, president and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health, is stepping down, and Imran Andrabi, president of Froedtert ThedaCare Health, will take over as CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare Health effective July 1, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
"I am incredibly honored and humbled by the confidence placed in me to lead our new health system," Andrabi says in a press release.
"Our purpose is always to connect our diverse communities and patients with the right care at the right time and place."
Andrabi, a family physician, has been with Froedtert ThedaCare Health for more than 20 years, serving as president since 2017.
ThedaCare Health has invested in community health in recent years, including a $100 million renovation of ThedaCare's Level 2 Trauma Center in Neenah, a new comprehensive Orthopedic, Spine, and Pain Center in Berlin, and a new emergency department in Berlin.
