Researchers in Australia are working to improve the dental health of Indigenous children in remote communities, the Guardian reports.
Thanks to more than $2 million in funding from the Australian government, University of Western Australia researcher Peter Arrow is working on a project that will use silver fluoride and tele-dentistry to manage and prevent childhood dental decay.
It's expected that these measures will improve the dental health of recipients not only in childhood but through to adulthood.
The project was one of two funded by the Western Australian government.
