Ufa Co-Operative and Myland Announce Commercial Pilot to Enhance Soil Health in Alberta

An Arizona-based soil health company is teaming up with a co-operative in Canada to help farmers solve some of the world's biggest problems with their soil, the Arizona Republic reports.

Called MyLand, the company works with farmers to improve the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of their soil.

According to a press release, MyLand's "soil health service" and UFA Co-operative's "advanced microbial technologies" will be used to "enhance the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the soil" and "result in enhanced soil fertility, optimized crop yields, and the promotion of eco-friendly farming practices."

UFA Co-operative is an Alberta-based agricultural co-operative with more than 120,000 member-owners.

MyLand works with farmers to infuse life into their soil, helping to return farms to their most fertile state, achieving greater productivity and enhanced profitability.

"This collaboration will not only enhance soil health and crop yields but also promote sustainable and responsible farming practices, benefiting farmers and the environment," Dane Hague, CEO and co-founder of MyLand, says in the press release.
