The Red Cross in Southern Indiana received a $200,000 grant with an additional $100,000 for immediate use given by the Paul Ogle Foundation's Board of Directors for the construction of a new $409,000 emergency operations center.
The Red Cross is now expected to begin work on the building which will be just off Interstate 64 in Georgetown in late spring or early summer and to completely operate later this year.
